Tableware quality control:


The preshipment inspections of tableware are very important to make sure all safety requirements, PO stipulations, production specifications are met. The quality checks will mostly follow below methods:

As the quality control inspections can happen at any stage of manufacturing, so there are:

The checklist for onsite quality inspection test will be like below:

ON-SITE INSPECTION LIST COMMENTS RESULT
Test the fit of the lid. and lid can not falls off when the teapot is tilted toward 90 degrees-If the item has a lid - The lid should fit well.-S3 PASSED
Test the item for water leakage during the entire inspection period.-Fill the item with water then place onto a paper to check there is no leakage at all.-S2 PASSED
Perform a wobble test on a flat glass panel. Check both the top rim of the glass and the bottom.-There should be no wobbling of the base or the rim.-I FAILED
Check capacity (volume) by weighing the item or by using a capacity gauge ( the mug, bowl and the container claimed with the volumn)-The results must conform with the specifications.-S2 FAILED
Perform a fatigue test-On all adjustable parts. Do this 20 times.-S2 PASSED
Perform a fitting test check-The lid should fit the base well.-II FAILED
If the product is designed for use in a dishwasher and/or microwave oven, place it in a dishwasher and run the dishwasher for one cycle during the inspection period and also 10 minutes in the micro-wave oven.-If the product is designed for use in a dishwasher and/or microwave oven, place it in a

Compare the inspection sample with the approval sample.-II FAILED
Check if items stand properly when pieces are stacked up, if this test fail, please state the cause clearly on inspection report and take photos-
1)Stack the products (60 pieces for the plate/reference and 12 pieces for bowl/reference and cup/reference );
2) Ensure they can stack properly and do not wobble or tilt over-S2

Hand washing test -- --Wash the product with cotton fabric in cold water of room temperature (about 20--35degree) and hot water of tempertature (about 80 -- 90 degree) -- During washing, dip product into the water and wiping the whole surface of the product -No color should be removed from the item’s surface during the test and no printing, markings or paint should fade.-3 pcs FAILED
Test the strength of the handle.--S2 PASSED
