Inspections: Water Thermo Heater Cup Mug Bottle Kettle Workout Stainless Steel SS Alu Glass Plastic:

The PSI TPI quality pre-shipment inspections for Water Bottles, Workout Bottles, Kettles, Cups, Mugs made of Stainless Steel, Plastic, Aluminum, or Glass:

  • Aesthetic, visual defects, workmanship, surface and function check
  • Labels, markings, logos & barcodes check
  • Packaging, safety and drop tests
  • Quantity & assortment verifying
  • Product specs, and special requirements check
  • Measurements & sizes check
  • On-site safety, regulation & function testing

The quality inspections are mostly as follows for this line of products:

Below is an example of our Workout Bottle Quality Pre-shipment Inspection Checklist:

Smell check-check if there are any strong offensive odor-II PASSED
Rub test for printing and marking: 
Adhesive test for coating if applicable-For rub test: The durability of the marking is checked by trying to remove it by rubbing lightly for 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with water and, after drying, for a further 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with petroleum spirit;  if the spirit not availabel, use the 95% alcohol
- After the test, the marking shall be legible, marking labels shall not be easily 		 PASSED
Hot water & cold water(-20°C or -40°C)  test-S4 PASSED
perform quantity and assortment check in each package--S3 N/A
Perform a strength check.-Test all connections using normal force.-II(3Kgs) FAILED
Leakage water test-S1
Must not leak when bottle is placed upside down or on side
Major defect = bottles are leaking.

Note: to test this, fill bottles up with water and lie them on their side and leave for a while. 		 FAILED
Balanced and stability test-S1(Place on a glass panel or plane for test stability) FAILED
Strap test  - strength （Weight bearing strap of up to 3kg）
Major defect = strap breaks when bottle is filled with water and bottle is held by the strap.
Please note: you only need to test this with two bottles per colour (8 bottles total).You can use these bottles that you fill up for the leak and drop tests too. When you put these bottles back in the cartons please mark on the cartons that the carton contains test bottles – as will not be able to sell these 8 bottles we use for testing. 		 FAILED
Strap / cap test – rotation
Must rotate freely
Minor defect = strap does not rotate freely (please refer to video provided).		 PASSED
Drop test--Must not break when dropped from waist height onto floor (empty)
Major defect = bottle breaks when dropped from waist height.
Please note: you only need to test this with two bottles per colour – you can use the same ones you used for the strap and leak tests for this.		 PASSED
Scan test for barcode label-S1 PASSED
