Fujian cabinet QC check:

The furniture products like cabinets, are mostly made of MDF (medium density fiberboard), and some of them are of metal (steel file cabinets, aluminium cabinets etc.). The pre-shipment inspections for cabinets will check:

  • Packaging, safety and drop tests onsite
  • Aesthetic, visual defects, workmanship, surface and function checks
  • Product specs, and special requirements verifying
  • On-site safety, regulation & function tests
  • Labels, markings, logos & barcodes quality check
  • Measurements & sizes checks
  • Quantity & assortment checks

Perform a barcode scanning test-The barcode should be scannable and with the correct number.-S2 (8 Pcs) N/A
Perform vertical stability test for table-Apply a force of 300N -600N at the center line of the table
if the length of the table >=1600mm,the force should be 600N;
If the length of the table <=800MM,the force should be 300N;
If 800mm Apply this force at at least 100mm from the edges of the table-S1

Smell check-check if there are any strong offensive odor-II FAILED
For adhesive test: perform test on coating (painting/plating/ screen printing, etc) with 3M tape.-S2
如是喷涂，烤漆，需要百格测试，印刷只要直接用3M就可		 PASSED
Perform a carton drop test: 10 drops from the correct height based on carton weight as defined in ISTA 1 A(6 faces, 3 edges,1 corner) - On 3 cartons – packed products should not get damaged PASSED
Perform an operation test /Folding Endurance
-If applicable:
The folding mechanism is open to its full position and closed again while loaded as intended by the manufacturer 30 times to ensure its endurability. It shall not stick or catch and shall be able to fold completely.如有折叠功能的需要进行折叠测试		 FAILED
Perform a rub test for printing and marking ; Adhesive test for coating if applicable-For rub test: The durability of the marking is checked by trying to remove it by rubbing lightly for 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with water and, after drying, for a further 15 s with a piece of cloth soaked with petroleum spirit; if the spirit not available , use the 95% alcohol - After the test, the marking shall be legible, marking labels shall not be easily removable and they shall show no curling. N/A
Check if the base of the item wobbles, It is to be placed on the inclined plane of15 degree to the horizontal and turned to a position that results in tip over.(15度斜度板，如果没有做10度或8度板) –II PASSED

Ensure after assembly and the junction is strong enough and has no looseness and does not crack when tighten to the right force.-S2

For the nature wood, please check with factory to see if they had done the treatment again woodworm or not, ask for the fumigation report for the raw material, and provide such information for client.--II (125 Pcs)

*S* Externally accessible openings.-There shall be no open-ended tubes greater than 7 mm in diameter. Drilled holes, gaps or cavities with a diameter greater than 7 mm and smaller than 12 mm shall be covered if a 7 mm diameter probe can enter to a depth of 10 mm or more.-S1
间隙检查，不允许有7-12MM的间隙出现在所有的产品中		 PASSED
Perform a humidity test. The sample should be taken: - On S3; - In at least 10 different cartons - Provide at least 1 picture for each measurement point position (to show where the test was done = 3 pictures totaly)-Check the humidity for wood: check 3 points(a, b and c) per unit- For wooden items, the humidity tolerance for April to October: 12% Max -II PASSED
Perform a wobble test.-On a flat place - No foot of the item should lift more than 2mm.-S2
